- I am currently taking sessions for
- We usually would want to reschedule if it is raining or has rained and the ground is muddy, or if the temperature is below 32 degrees or above 95 degrees. Also, if it is extremely windy.
- Newborn {1-14 days young}: 2-3 hours depending on the newborn. I want to allow plenty of time for feedings or consoling the baby. If your baby just isn't having it that day, we can use the rest of the time left in the session and try again another day.
- Sitting/ Standing: 45 minutes
- Seniors: anywhere from 45 minutes to 3 hours
DO YOU PREFER TO SHOOT INSIDE OR OUTSIDE?
- I always suggest and prefer to have sessions outside. Being outside provides lots of great background options and lighting. I do prefer to take newborn photos inside, either at your home or in my kitchen {where I get some great light}.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
- Newborn: nothing or a diaper, maybe a hair bow or a tutu for a girl, or a bow tie for a boy. Save the cute outfits for when the baby is sitting.
- Babies and Kids: It is fun to do something more crazy when photographing one child. Feel free to bring two outfits so you can get a couple looks {a safe one and a fun one}. Remember that kids will get tired of being changed a lot, so try to limit the outfit changes.
- Seniors: Bring lots of outfits --- at least 2 changes of clothes! This will also depend on the session you choose. The longer the session, the more outfits you can have. I am here to help you put this all together too. We will pick out what will look best with the surroundings. Girls, consider something dressy, like a prom dress, something casual, and something fun! If you want to email me some pictures of your outfits before the shoot, I am happy to help you pick out the ones I think will work best.

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?
- Whoever plans on being photographed
- It is important to come to shoots with full bellies and well rested bodies {especially for the kids}.
- Newborns/ Babies: diapers, wipes, burp cloths, toys, a item that you might want in a photograph {like grandma's old quilt or a special bear}, a couple outfits if you want, snacks, a bottle or mom. I will have a sound machine and a heater going for the newborns{this helps lull them to sleep}.
WHEN WILL MY PHOTOS BE READY?
- Being a one women business, as well as a full time mom, I might take a little longer than those who have all day to devote to editing. I usually get the images to you on your disc within two-three weeks. I also try to get a little sneak preview on Facebook for you within a few days of your shoot.
